InterAutoGlass looking for new chairman
15 Jan. 2009
The International Automotive Glass Federation has to look for a new chairman, as Freddy Grumstrup Sørensen will have to leave his position. Major changes in his professional career will no longer make a combination with the chair of the Federation possible.
“Our Federation owes Fred a lot of gratitude”, says Pim de Ridder, managing director of the Federation. “He has played a significant role during the start of InterAutoGlass. His huge international business experience, his constant search for innovation and his commitment to share his knowledge with others has made him the ideal founder chairman. We very much regret he has to leave us now”.
InterAutoGlass will elect a new Chairman during its next General Meeting in February 2009. In the meantime the two Vice Chairmen Hisashi Ebina (JAGU) and Philip James (NGA) will temporarily take the chair.
